Guidance on what to expect when entries open EARLY FOR THE 2025 EVENT
Should I be worried about the event selling out?
If you are keen to enter, then we recommend taking advantage of your early entry access!
As you have registered interest for the 2025 event, you will be able to enter from Monday 13th May. This means you can get your entry in before entries go on general sale on 31st May. We expect demand to be high for the 2025 event, so it’s worth taking advantage of this early offer!
By entering early, you will also save £100 with the early bird price!
Where and when do I go to enter?
On Monday 13th May, you will receive an email inviting you to take up your exclusive early entry into the 2025 event. This link will take you to SiEntries, where you will be able to enter.
Please don’t panic if you don’t receive this straight away on Monday morning – you will receive it by the end of the day, which will still give you plenty of time to sign up.
If you haven’t received your exclusive invitation by the end of the day on Monday, please get in touch.

Can I enter someone else under my SiEntries account?
Sorry, this isn’t possible for this event due to the complexities with instalment payments. One SiEntries account can only add an entry for one person into the Cape Wrath Ultra®, so please ensure your friend/wife/husband/partner has another account setup in case you were hoping to enter more than one person.
Do I need an SiEntries account?
Yes! And best to ensure that you:
can login to your SiEntries account (or register if you haven’t already got one)
check that your details (e-mail address etc.) are up to date.
Do I have to rush through my entry as quickly as possible?
No! Please take your time to complete your entry as accurately as possible and browse the optional extras. Once you have begun the entry process then your position is ‘frozen’ in the virtual queue for one hour, so as long as you have paid within that hour, you really don’t need to worry about anyone ‘queue jumping’!
We expect it to take only 5-10 minutes for you to complete an entry.
How do we take entries?
We take entries via SiEntries. The link on the email will take you to the right place. If you don’t have an account with SiEntries, then set one up ahead of entries opening.
If you already have an account, then please check all your details are up to date, especially your email (we will use the email address regularly to send you important updates about your entry.)

What is the entry fee?
The total entry fee for the 8-day event is £1999. Find out more about what is included. This will go up to £2,099 after the 7th June.
What is the minimum payment I need to make to secure my place?
A non-refundable* deposit of £199 is due upon entry. This deposit will go up to £299 after the 7th June.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes! Following the initial non-refundable deposit payment there are four separate interest-free instalment payments due of £450 each.
We will send you an email reminder about each instalment payment and invite you to pay either via debit/credit card or via a bank transfer.
Can I pay up and commit in full?
Yes! If you just want to get your entry fully paid up and active straight away, then simply tick all the instalment checkboxes upon entering, and you will be prompted to pay the full entry fee.

provide some relevant previous experience:

What happens if I’m unable to attend due to an unforeseen circumstance?
Whilst our standard terms and conditions of entry are generous in offering participants some options if they have to withdraw, these are somewhat limited (e.g. they are only possible up to a certain date before the event takes place, and the non-refundable deposit of £199 is not deferrable or transferable).
This event offers the option to purchase XCover, so you may be able to get a refund if unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
Alternatively, it is your responsibility to obtain appropriate insurance to cover your participation in the event (and any loss, or injury which may occur as a result of such participation).
