Running North - A short film about the Cape Wrath Ultra®

We are thrilled to announce the release of Running North – A new film about the Cape Wrath Ultra® from Steve Ashworth Media in association with Summit Fever Media and Ourea Events.

Follow the story of this epic race from the initial concept by Race Director Shane Ohly through to the emotional and memorable finish line at Cape Wrath at the most north-westerly tip of the British Isles.

Join the participants as they run north from Fort William, covering 400 kilometres over 8 days through the wild and beautiful Highlands of Scotland.

Along the way marvel at the stunning scenery from the grand mountains of Torridon to the great waterfalls of Glomach and Eas a' Chual Aluinn, from the remote valleys of Knoydart and Assynt to the golden sandy beaches of Sandwood Bay.

Meet the brave individuals who have chosen to take on this challenge of a lifetime. Share in the struggles and the setbacks as we watch them get cold, lost, injured and exhausted. But also, enjoy the moments of incredible camaraderie and friendship as together they keep pushing on to achieve their goal of arriving at Cape Wrath.
